Great News!!

A huge thank you to the John Stubbs Community for the recent support of two Library Learning Commons events.

Through Indigo’s Adopt-a-School program, the EJSMS community submitted stories, “liked and shared” one particular story, designed library spaces, and made online donations. This great effort has resulted in $1821.90 in credits at Indigo; including a $500 prize for having one of the top five most liked stories in the province. Factoring in the 30% discount we will receive this means $2368.47 in new books!

After four very busy Scholastic book fair days; final net sales were $7055.63. This converts into $4938.94 of Scholastic Credits. Many thanks to the amazing volunteer students and parents who helped make the English book fair a huge success. The French book fair will take place in February.

These additional resources will go a long way in filling the shelves with more French resources.

Thank you for your continued support and helping John Stubbs students get excited about reading.
